Below is an example of the topics covered in the 1 and 2 day workshops.  Workshops can be customized for those attending.  Please contact me if you would like to discuss a personalized workshop.

One Day Workshop

• 9 am – 5 pm (one hour break for lunch)

• Minimum of 6, maximum of 10 participants

• Attendees will receive a supply list after registering. 

• Class will take place in rooms with tables, irons, and cutting space.

• Participants bring their own sewing machine in good working order that they are familiar with using.

• Review of text, workbook, instructor’s guide (for educators)

• Sample making selected by participants

• Use of the half-scale patterns for sample making

• Cost: $125 per participant

Two Day Workshop

• 9 am – 5 pm, both days (one hour break for lunch)

• Minimum of 6, maximum of 10 participants

• Attendees will receive a supply list after registering.

• Class will take place in rooms with tables, irons, and cutting space..

• Participants bring their own sewing machine in good working order that they are familiar with using.

• Cost: $250 per participant

Day One

• Review of text, forms( instructor’s guide for educators)

• Sample making selected by participant

• Setting up samples, layout, cutting

Day Two

• Determining Knit Stretch and Recovery

• Half-scale patterns for T-shirts:

  • Neckline templates

  • Sleeve variations

  • Hem variations

  • Multiple fabric choices

• Construction of T-shirt(s)

• Fabric Manipulation
